Customizing Omnistar Shopping Cart

Omnistar Shopping Cart allows you to switch between a number of attractive templates, and it is customizeable beyond these templates. You can add your own logo to the page, and you can rearange the individual elements of the page. This makes setting up your software fast and easy, and it doesn't require technical knowledge.

STEP 1: Select a template

Select Site Design from the top of the page. This takes you to the templates window. You can select any of these templates, simply click on it to switch to the template. Its that simple, as you can see there are a number of themed templates included, and its possible to get more templates for our software. As soon as you switch templates the new one will be live.

STEP 2: Create a Logo

You can also upload your own logo, or generate a matching one from text you enter. From the store design section, select Logo Settings. By default the name of the cart is displayed as text, select create a new logo image for my website to enter a logo, or select upload a logo image from my computer. If you choose to create a logo, select I want to use a logo designed specifically for my store design. You can enter text, and once you save it, it will be live. If you upload an image, when you save it, it will be live.

STEP 3: Rearange the Front End

If you select Design Mode and click the box that says Yes, enable design mode, you can edit the site from the front end. Once this is enabled, go to the front page of the site while logged in as an administrator. If you click on text, you will be able to edit it. You can also drag page elements to other parts of the page. A column must have at least one element in it. You can right click on a page element to edit it specifically or delete it.
