Configuring Payment Options in Omnistar Shopping Cart
Omnistar Shopping Cart allows you to setup the system to
work with a number of different payment methods.
The software is easy to configure, and getting it
working with Paypal is as simple as entering your
email address into the software. Getting the system
online is just that easy.

Step 1: Select your payment methods
Select the Settings dropdown from the top right of
the software. From here select Checkout Settings.
This page is where you will select the payment methods
you will allow users to pay with. Select which payment
methods you would like to allow. If you are going
to offer users the ability to pay with a credit card,
you need to have secure connections enabled on your
site and in the software. You will configure these
settings later.

Step 2: Setup checkout details
Select what type of checkout page you would like
to use. Select whether customers can purchase without
being registered with the site and whether the system
will generate an account for them to make future purchases.
Set how the system will handle inventory, as it can
remove an item from inventory when a sale is made,
or when an item is shipped. Select which actions the
system takes will result in email updates to buyers,
and set whether the system will charge a handling
fee for digital downloads.

Step 3: Configure payment methods
You should now configure each of the payment methods
you have enabled. You can setup Paypal simply by entering
your paypal account's email address. You can limit
which countries you will accept certain payment options
from, so that you will not be sending a COD to someone
in another country, etc. Each option is easy to configure,
and those which are not through payment gateways allow
you to provide special instructions to your buyers.
